I saw this written on one of the walls on the Royal Mile and it referred to the economic situation in Spain at the moment which has gotten much worse since I have been here. The Lost Generation applies to the young generation in Spain, lots of them have emigrated and lots of them are just trying to do as much as they can to get out of their situation. It was when all the demonstrations in Spain and here (Spanish people here in Edinburgh) were happening. It was about young people who were really struggling to find jobs in Spain, the unemployment rate for people under 30 years was very high. I felt like I was here but there were so many things going on back home and I felt that I was missing out on this movement of people, they were demonstrating about one of the main reasons I was here.
